When you need to specify a user in an API call, you can often use an email address or login name. However, you might need the user’s API ID. An Orange Logic administrator can find this information in the Orange Logic interface by going to Administration > Contacts and looking up the user account. The user account API ID appears at the bottom of the Details tab.

Every Contact record also has an encrypted record ID, which you can retrieve with the Retrieve account information DataTable API call.
